Authority in Human Design
Sacral
Instant body response — yes / no — to a concrete question. If you're thinking it, it isn't the Sacral.
Sacral authority is the most embodied and immediate form of decision-making.
How it works
Sacral authority is the most embodied and immediate form of decision-making. When the Sacral is defined and the Solar Plexus is open, you have access to an instant body response to any closed (yes/no) question. It works only for binary questions, asked by others or by the situation itself. The Sacral speaks spontaneously — through guttural sounds (“uh-huh,” “unh-uh”) or an inner body signal. This response cannot be reasoned into existence; it is either there or it isn't. When you live by your Sacral, the body leads you to the right scenarios; the mind serves implementation.
Decision rule
Listen for the body's response — “uh-huh” / “unh-uh” — to a specific yes/no question in the moment.
What to rely on
The spontaneous sound or somatic reaction of the Sacral.
